Pavarti Tyler tagged me as The Next Big Thing! That’s a huge compliment, and I’m not sure I’m worthy of the title, but you just never know. 
So here’s a peek at what’s on Trashy’s agenda this fall.
What is the working title of your book?
Secret Storm
Where did the idea come from for the book?
It’s not a sequel, but it’s the story about the secondary characters in Tell Me You Want Me. I fell in love with Jack Wheeler, and I wanted to share how he finally wins the woman he’s been lusting after for years.
What genre does your book fall under?
Contemporary romance. Some people call it erotic romance and that’s accurate too because there’s a lot of sex in it.
Which actors would you choose to play your characters in a movie rendition?
Jack was inspired by Christian Kane, but he’s too old to play Jack now. (Still hotter than hell though. ) Sara’s blonde but I can’t think of any blonde actresses I like. I can see Alicia Coppola as Sara. She’s good at playing strong, smart women.
What is the one-sentence synopsis of your book?
A dangerous secret comes back to haunt him, a secret so horrible he can’t trust anyone with it, not even the woman he desires more than anything.
Will your book be self-published or represented by an agency?
I self-published it in April 2011, and it’s being re-released by Evolved Publishing on October 2, 2012 with a new cover and new scenes.
How long did it take you to write the first draft of your manuscript?
I wrote the first draft in about 9 months, taking a couple months off after adopting my daughter.
What other books would you compare this story to within your genre?
I don’t compare my books to anyone else’s. I’ll let my readers do that.
Who or What inspired you to write this book?
My muse. Jack was inspired by a man with a mysterious and violent past. I wondered what kind of woman could heal his pain.
What else about your book might pique the reader’s interest?
It’s darker and has more depth than its predecessor, Tell Me You Want Me. It’s my favorite of the two because it has football, baseball, a 68 Mustang, a hot hero with long hair, and power struggle sex.

Wow, what a compliment! And you’re right on including Emlyn in your list! I love long hair on guys, too. Steve is not allowed to cut his. I just trim the ends. LOL
Bravo for giving secondary characters center stage. A lot times readers fall in love with them, too!
I knew I needed to write Jack and Sara’s story before I finished Tell Me. I couldn’t let them go.
